Gators

The 2009-2010 schedule of games for the Gethsemane Gators has been announced. This includes Softball, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, and Track & Field.

This year will feature cross-division play against Grace Lutheran and Emmaus Lutheran, which the Gators have not faced in regular season play since the 2006-2007 season.

Opponents are not the only changes this year, as the league has voted to change game start times for most sports. Softball games will began at 4:00pm, as well as Soccer. Volleyball games will remain the same, beginning with "B" games at 3:30pm to be followed by "A" games. The Basketball season will see girls games begin at 3:30pm, followed by boys games at 4:30pm

The Softball season gets started on August 27 with a close away game for the "A" team against Emmanuel. The home-opener will take place on September 8 against Joy Christian at Kiwanis Park. The "A" team will finish up with the League Tournament at Tempe Sports Complex on September 19.

The "B" Softball teams will play their sole home game on September 9 against Emmanuel, facing Christ's Greenfield and Joy away, before they finish the season on September 26 at the League B Jamboree.
